My areas of specialism are general urology, urinary tract stones and urological oncology. My specialty is in stone surgery; which includes complex stone surgery, prostate cancer diagnostics, as well as the use of MRI fusion technology. My special interests are in urinary tract infections, prostatitis and pelvic pain, as well as enlarged prostates.
I graduated in 1994 from Dundee University, Scotland. Since then, I have undergone extensive surgical training, becoming a full time consultant in 2013, giving almost 22 years of experience in the field of urology. I have a Doctorate in Medicine from University of London and am also the Associate sub-Dean for the Medical School at Southampton.
Further to my role as an educator, I offer courses to GPs regarding my areas of expertise and am interested and involved in research.
