I specialise in orthopaedic surgery and primarily perform hip and knee replacements.
I attended medical school at Cambridge University and graduated with First Class honours and a Distinction in surgery. I commenced my post-graduate Orthopaedic training at Addenbrooke's hospital, Cambridge and completed it in Newcastle Upon Tyne. I undertook an additional 18 months of advanced surgical training in Melbourne and Perth, Australia where I developed a special interest and expertise in hip and knee replacement. I was appointed consultant orthopaedic surgeon at the University Hospital of North Durham in 2005.
