My specialist area of interest is in Head and Neck Skin Oncology as well as Cosmetic Surgery.
I offer a very patient focused Cosmetic Surgery practice. This includes all aspects of facial aesthetics such as face lift, rhinoplasty, prominent ear correction, blepharoplasty, neck lift and brow lift. I also specialise in cosmetic breast surgery such as breast augmentation, removal and replacement of implants, breast reduction, uplift mastopexy and male gynaecomastia.
My cosmetic practice includes all aspects of body contouring procedures such as liposuction, tummy tuck abdominoplasty and body contouring procedures including arm and thigh reduction. I also offer non-surgical treatments including anti-wrinkle injections and fillers for lip, cheek, tear trough and non-surgical rhinoplasty.
I qualified from the Royal Free University Hospital Medical School in London in 2002 and trained at renowned Plastic Surgery units at St George’s Hospital, London, Broomfield Hospital, Chelmsford, Royal Victoria Infirmary, Newcastle and also Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital, London. My Higher Plastic Surgical Training was completed in the Northern Deanery including at the University Hospital of North Durham, where I am currently a Substantive Consultant and the Trust’s Lead Clinician for Skin Cancer.
I was awarded the highest ranking trainee in my fellowship year on the esteemed and highly competitive National Training Interface Fellowship at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital, London. My Cosmetic training has been within Spire, BMI and Nuffield Hospitals in the North East alongside Private Practice in London such as HCA at The Shard and London Bridge, Weymouth Street Hospital, London and I have been a visiting fellow at the Cleveland Clinic, Cleveland Ohio. I have also had a longstanding non-surgical injectables practice at the highly-regarded Sk:n Clinics both in the North East and Central London.
I am the Lead Clinician for Skin Cancer and Skin Specialist MDT for County Durham and Darlington NHS Foundation Trust as well as a panel member on the Northern Deanery training ARCP panel and Surgical Training Committee for Plastic Surgery and also on the interview panel for Plastic Surgery National Selection.

I have 18 peer reviewed publications in journals such as Journal of Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery, Journal of Hand Surgery, Acta Oncologica and written and contributed two book chapters. I have presented at numerous National and International conferences on all aspects of Plastic Surgery and Head and Neck Surgery throughout the UK, Ireland, France, Austria and the US.

I have always been a creative and active person which extends from my personal life into my passion for my Plastic and Aesthetic surgery practice. I play and compose music for the piano, strings and guitar, collect art and also play and coach tennis at my local club in particularly for my two young children. Along with my wife and children we love the outdoors, biking, skiing, running and climbing. I participate in Triathlons and half marathon training.
