I graduated from Patras University Medical School, Greece in 1998 and did my specialist training in Haematology in Athens, Greece with part of the training including research in Freiburg, Germany. Following the completion of specialist training in 2006, I worked as a clinical research fellow in Athens University Medical School and also at various consultant-level posts in Athens before undertaking a permanent post at Southend University Hospital. I have been working as a consultant in Southend since March 2011.
I am a general haematologist with experience in managing anaemia's, clotting problems and haematological malignancies (lymphoma, myeloma and leukaemias).
In addition to my clinical work I am Co-Lead of the Venous Thromboembolism Group in Southend University Hospital.
I am available for appointments at the Spire Wellesley Hospital on Wednesday evenings.
