I am a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Dermatologist, and have been practicing in the NHS since 2006. Currently based at Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust, I offer consultations for a wide range of dermatological conditions, with particular expertise in skin cancer diagnosis, dermoscopy, mole checks and skin surgery.
I earned my primary medical qualification in 2005 from the University of Glasgow and subsequently completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Dermatology, awarded by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow. I am also accredited with a Diploma in Sexual and Reproductive Health.
I am UK board-certified in Dermatology, having earned my Certificate of Eligibility for Specialist Registration (CESR). More recently, I completed a Postgraduate Certificate (PgCert) in Cosmetic and Aesthetic Medicine at the University of South Wales with a Distinction. I have also completed specialised training in laser therapies for skin lesions and rejuvenation.
Throughout my career, I have cultivated a deep interest in skin cancer and dermoscopy diagnostics. I have undergone advanced training in dermoscopy through the International Dermoscopy Society and the Australian Skin Cancer Symposium. I manage complex cases of skin cancer, and work closely with oncology and plastic surgery teams in a multidisciplinary approach.
I act as Chairing member of the Skin Cancer MDT for Basildon and Southend Hospitals, playing a key role in coordinating care for patients with challenging skin disease presentations. Along with clinic consultations, I also perform a weekly skin surgery clinic for skin lesion excisions, biopsies and curettage procedures.
Dedicated to providing personalised care, I integrate the latest advancements in dermatology to deliver effective treatment plans tailored to each patient. My holistic approach, combined with my extensive experience in dermatology, ensures my patients receive the highest standard of care.
