MB BS, FRCP
I completed my post graduate training in Cardiff in 2000. I joined Southend University Hospital in 2004 after being a consultant Physician at Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Norfolk for three and a half years.
I have wide experience and provide a comprehensive general and respiratory service. I lead the Asthma Services at Southend University Hospital and I represent South Essex as Lead Clinician for Mesothelioma at Essex Lung Cancer Network. I take a keen interest in teaching and am a member of the North East Thames Respiratory Specialist Registrar Training Committee and a member of British Thoracic Society / Royal College of Physicians Knowledge based assessment question setting group.
I welcome appropriate patients wishing to refer and pay for treatment themselves without the need for a GP's letter of referral.
COVID-19 testing or antibody tests are not available as a standalone service at Spire Wellesley Hospital.
My research interests are asthma and mesothelioma.
Queen Mary's School of Medicine and Dentistry, Southend University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and Consultant Physician & Honorary Clinical Senior Lecturer at Barts and the London.
I enjoy music, particularly instrumental and am a very sociable person.
