I am an experienced general haematologist, having worked as a consultant haematologist in Basildon Hospital since 1996 and transferred as head of department to Southend Hospital in 2010.
I specialise in haematological malignancy – such as lymphoma or myeloma, and will gladly manage patients with other disorders such as clotting problems and anaemia's etc.
I believe in offering an honest and personal service. Patients are always anxious seeing a haematologist, and I strive to ensure patients are reassured as much as possible.
I am available at the Spire Wellesley Hospital on Tuesday evenings.
Following my graduation in medicine in 1984 (University of Dublin), I did my specialist registrar training (1989-1995) in University College London, Great Ormond Street Hospital, Whittington Hospital and Watford General Hospital. I obtained Membership of Royal College of Physicians of Ireland in 1986 and Royal College of Pathologists in 1991.
