New Rafaelo procedure now available at Spire Wellesley Hospital
05 June 2018
Spire Wellesley Hospital are happy to announce that they are now offering an alternative method to treating haemorrhoids.
The Rafaelo procedure is normally done under sedation or local anaesthetic meaning you won't need a general anaesthetic, and can return to your normal daily activities immediately after treatment, rather than needing three weeks to recover. You’ll be virtually pain free after the procedure and your symptoms should improve almost immediately.
If you have haemorrhoids which are between grades one, two or three, Rafaelo could be the treatment for you. Some grade four haemorrhoids may be reduced, but it's unlikely that they will not reach a complete resolution, which often will require surgery.
Mr Michael Dworkin and Mr Bandipalyam Praveen will both be carrying out the Rafaelo procedure at Spire Wellesley.
The procedure will be available to self-funding patients for £1,995.
If you are interested in booking a consultation with either consultant or you would just like some more information please call on 01702 447 926.
