What is a Mummy MOT?

A Mummy MOT is a specialised post-natal assessment from six weeks post birth, onwards. It provides women with the post-natal check they deserve.

After having a baby half of all women have weakness in either tummy muscles or pelvic floor, with up to one third of women post birth suffering with complex pelvic problems such as back pain, pelvic pain, bladder and bowel weakness.

A Mummy MOT helps assess and address these symptoms by creating a bespoke post-natal recovery plan, getting mums back to function or fitness goals.

What does it include?

  • A pre-appointment questionnaire to fill in
  • 1 hour post-natal assessment with a specialist physiotherapist
  • In depth check (internal examination is optional) of pelvic floor strength, tummy gap/problems, scar issues, posture etc with a personalised programme to help return to function.

Please call 01702 447904 to book or ask any further questions.
