Prior to ENT training I was a doctor in the British army which included a combat tour of Afghanistan. It was fantastic preparation for a career in surgery as I’m now calm under pressure, well organised and a good communicator.

Outside of work I try to attend as many ENT courses and conferences as possible to stay up to date with the latest treatments and techniques. Additionally I always make time for my young family and labradoodle. My son has just started school and swimming lessons. Occasionally, there is time left over in the week for the odd round of golf or game of football. Prior to ENT training I was an army doctor, which included a tour of duty in Afghanistan.
