I qualified in medicine in 1995, following higher surgical training on the prestigious Oswestry rotation I was awarded the Trauma and Orthopaedic Fellowship from the Royal College of Surgeons in 2005.
I gained a broad experience of complex hip and knee problems working on fellowships at international centres of excellence including Exeter (Princess Elizabeth Orthopaedic Centre) and in Canada (London Health Sciences Centre).
As an NHS consultant working at the specialist Orthopaedic Hospital in Oswestry, I have more than a decade of experience performing high-volume surgery with excellent outcomes for both hip and knee conditions. These include keyhole procedures and complex joint replacement with rapid recovery techniques. My NJR Hospital and Surgeon profile is available on the National Joint Registry website.
Ongoing training and research remain an integral part of my practice and can be viewed on PubMed.
