Mr Mohamed Mohamed

Consultant Spinal Surgeon

MBChB, MSc, FRCS (En), PGDiPClinEd

I graduated from the University of Leicester, having read medicine and surgery in 2010. I subsequently completed my trauma and orthopaedic training in the Merseyside rotation where I specialised in spinal surgery. Having completed extensive fellowship training I became one of a select few spinal surgeons with expertise in treating both adult and paediatric patients at tertiary care centres in the United Kingdom. With this unique dual focus, I can address complex spinal conditions and deformities in patients of all ages, from children with scoliosis to adults needing advanced spine care.

My approach to care is deeply patient-centred, grounded in a strong ethos of compassion, respect, and individualised treatment. I believe that each patient is unique, deserving of a tailored care plan that addresses their specific needs, concerns, and goals. I take the time to build trusting relationships with my patients and their families, ensuring they feel supported, informed, and involved in every step of the journey. By offering clear explanations and guidance, my patients make well-informed decisions about their care, fostering a collaborative environment where the patient's wellbeing is always the top priority.

I offer a comprehensive range of spinal surgeries, specialising in the treatment of both adult and paediatric spinal deformities. I offer advanced corrective surgeries for scoliosis, kyphosis, and other complex spinal curvatures, as well as minimally invasive techniques to address degenerative spine conditions, disc issues, and spinal trauma. My surgical approach prioritises safety, precision, and optimal recovery, with a strong focus on reducing pain and restoring function.

Lower back conditions,

  • Coccydynia (surgery offered MUA and injection of coccyx) degenerative disc disease (surgery offered lumbar decompression)
