I am a spinal surgeon working at The Walton Centre (European Centre of Excellence) and developed the endoscopic spinal service. Prior to it, I was trained in spinal surgery at prestigious Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt (Oswestry) and University Hospital of Wales.
I practice all aspects of spinal surgery (except Paediatrics') and specialise in keyhole endoscopic spinal surgery. This minimally invasive technique through a single stab incision reduces tissue destruction and blood loss, thereby promoting early recovery.
Endoscopic spinal surgery has become a standard of care in my NHS practice and we are able to perform not only discectomy but more complex procedures like stenosis (back/neck) and further.
I am an advocate of patient centred care and believe in an “informed patient is a happy patient”
This is reflected in my patient feedback on forums like iWantGreatCare
