Specialises in
Virtual consultations:
I am delighted to see all general urology cases, including urgent referrals (haematuria, raised PSA, prostate symptoms and kidney stones) as well as routine urology diagnostic cases. In addition I have a special interest in stone surgery and laser prostatectomy, as well as upper tract laparoscopy and men's health.
I qualified from Charing Cross and Westminster Medical School in 1997, and subsequently completed basic surgical training on the Oxford Rotation. I then undertook laboratory based clinical research on prostate cancer, at University College London prior to higher surgical training in urology (London).
Academically, I have edited five teaching textbooks, published over 70 peer-reviewed Medline papers and presented at numerous national/international meetings. I have also organised several practical skill courses for fellow trainees, as well as career advice courses for medical students and junior doctors at the Royal Society of Medicine London.
