Your consultations

One of our experienced cosmetic surgeons will be able to offer you an initial consultation within a few days of your enquiry.

Your appointment will take place in one of our six consultation rooms. This will give us a chance to find out about your medical history and reasons for wanting the treatment. This also gives you the opportunity to ask questions about the surgery and aftercare. We’ll tell you about:

• Any tests you’ll need before your surgery
• The procedure, the different techniques available and the anaesthetic
• Any potential complications and risks and how they may affect you
• The cooling-off period to allow you time to fully consider whether to go ahead with the surgery
• The personalised aftercare you’ll receive

You may also need to have a pre-operative assessment before the procedure.

Some people can return home on the same day as their surgery, depending on the time of day you have your operation. If you need to stay overnight, you’ll have your own private en-suite room. All of our 18 rooms have the comforts and conveniences you’d expect at home, including:

On the day of your operation, you’ll meet your anaesthetist and the surgical team.

Before the procedure, you’ll be given a general anaesthetic, so you’ll be asleep. The operation should take between one to three hours.

Your surgeon will make cuts (incisions) to lift and reshape your breasts. They’ll use the technique you agreed during your consultation.

After surgery, you’ll probably feel some pain or discomfort – our nursing team will give you painkillers to help you with this.

Although everybody’s different and you should always follow your consultant’s advice, here’s a typical recovery timeline for breast uplift surgery:
