I originally qualified in 1991 at Charing Cross and Westminster Medical School. I then had my orthopaedic training from the North West Thames orthopaedic training scheme and later took on specialist training with the Spinal unit of the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, Stanmore.
I've helped introduce revolutionary procedures and techniques to the South Coast, including anterior lumbar surgery, lumbar disc replacement, minimally invasive spinal surgery and vertebroplasty.
I also teach as a faculty member on several national and international courses.
I maintain close ties with many other leading spinal surgeons around the UK.
