Spire Murrayfield Hospital
At Murrayfield we operate an open visitors policy between the hours of 9am - 9pm, every day of the year. If a friend or family member accompanies you into hospital they are welcome to remain in your room or in the ward’s visitor waiting room while you have your procedure.
Visitors may be asked to leave your room if your nurse feels you need to rest or while they undertake clinical duties within your room.
Spire Shawfair Park Hospital
A stay at Shawfair Park usually lasts 3 - 4 hours, therefore those accompanying you are often advised to go home, if they are able to. Your friend or family member will be contacted when you are ready for discharge from the ward.
At Spire Edinburgh Hospitals, we strive to recognise and support the needs of every individual. Our hospital is accessible to everybody.
If you would like to speak to someone about your needs, you can call us at Murrayfield on 0131 334 0363 or Shawfair Park on 0131 654 6500, or complete the enquiry form.
